By meeting and talking with other members sharing similar circumstances we can support each other. Contact the individual support volunteer or the Friendship Director at email@example.com or 780-455-5520 for more information.
The buddy support system is intended to offer advice and support by connecting our members. Initially, our members can call each other and chat, and then if they wish, they can arrange to get together, or meet at one of the club’s social functions. Many members ask to meet families with multiples of the same age so that they can swap ideas and share their concerns in regards to raising multiples! If you like you can also support members looking for advice/support from families that have shared similar experiences in the past, such as a NICU stay or special needs diagnosis.
The Buddy Support program began in 1999 and since then our club has matched many parents up with a buddy and the program has been very successful in offering support to our members. If you are interested in joining this program contact our Buddy Support Co-ordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
